William (Bill) Harsey is famous for designing
knives for the “Special Opps” community of the military
and he sized the T2 to handle any field cutting task while remaining
compact enough to be carried every day. We think it is the best
military/tactical knife on the market. It has a 3.90 inch blade
built from premium CPM-S30V high-carbon stainless steel for tremendous
cutting power and edge retention. We heat treat, temper and cryogenically
freeze each blade to obtain the maximum performance from the premium
CPM-S30V steel. This steel is the best available for a tactical
field knife being extremely tough, corrosion resistant and holds
its edge extremely well.
The Ranger blade design with its edge beveled
to the top of the blade and thick spine makes it ideal for all types
of cutting under extreme conditions. The blade pivot hardware is
heat-treated stainless steel for added toughness and all the fasteners
and pocket clip are stainless steel. The handle is green & black
layered Micarta. This material is tough, has a non-slip surface
and is very good looking. Open frame style construction makes the
T2 easy to clean. Dirt and debres can be easily washed out of the
handle under field conditions. The locking-liner provides safety
during use and the ambidextrous thumb-stud makes one handed opening
easy. The T2 is proudly built in the USA and is backed by a limited
lifetime warranty. It is packaged in a nice Lone Wolf gift box.
